What is the FQSA?
Founded in 1984, the Fédération québécoise pour le saumon atlantique (FQSA) is a non-profit organization whose main concerns are to unite and represent the interests of the anglers in Québec. That is why the FQSA mission is to promote:
- the preservation and improvement of salmon rivers
- the development of salmon sport fishing
- The protection of the salmon resource and its habitat against any threat as well as maintaining the access to quality fishing at a reasonable price are fundamental FQSA’s commitments.
The salmon world
The FQSA has more than 1000 members. Among them are anglers, people and organisms interested in the salmon resource, salmon rivers management associations as well as a lot of companies, municipalities and regional county municipalities. (MRC)
